HEMIS - A Place of Raw Beauty, Meditative Prayer, Celebration and Sanctuary
HEMIS is a small town with a big heart nestled in the breathtaking valleys in Leh-Ladakh. Serene yet striking, this tiny village is home the gorgeous hilltop Stakna Monastery, a sanctuary to a variety of flora and fauna including the endangered species of animals and birds (especially Snow Leopards), a tranquil Gotsang Gompa and also the Hemis Festival - most important and fascinating Buddhist celebration in Ladakh.
The place, it's people and it's entire genuineness can hold one under a spell which still has us so strongly under its power that we named our small genuine effort of bridging nature and style after this place that has our hearts forever.
our begining
Founded in 2019, Hemis started out in Hyderabad as India's First He mp Lifestyle store. But soon COVID hit and with all the free time at hand, we phoenixed into a Bespoke exotic natural fashion label which allows our customers to choose the fabric, the style, the fit, and even the smallest details. This level of customization means that one will never have to worry about their personal style being lost in the crowd.
We bring you the stuff dreams are made of while offering fine bespoke craftsmanship and construction, with cutting edge fabrics made from materials like Aloe Vera, Milk, Orange Peel, Lotus among others and detailed hand finishing, all made in India and shipped across the globe.
We have now set foot into the world of ready-to-wear garments bringing you the same fine finish at more competitive prices than our bespoke segment.

It was a complex decision to start a fashion brand, what with several hundred mushrooming in India. But our unwavering love and priority of combining form and function with aesthetic sensibilities and the true touch of immaculate craftsmanship drove us to bring Hemis to life.
We create each piece per your story, as your second skin; being true to who you are. We believe in fashion that is specifically made for YOU, so when you buy a Hemis product you don’t just lock a place in your closet but have a piece you love and turn to time and time again.
The design process starts with intricate sketching, before the atelier, with the utmost love and care, handcrafts the final pieces. Meticulous, the team understands and crafts your signature style to honour you, whilst forever evolving it forward.
